Alberta Federation of Regulated Health Professionals
We are an organization of the province’s health profession regulatory colleges. These colleges exist to protect everyone who accesses healthcare in Alberta. Each regulates members of their profession(s) to ensure you receive safe, competent, ethical and appropriate care.
Our Federation is a forum where health profession colleges can share information and best practices.
All.Can Canada
All.Can aims to help define better solutions for sustainable cancer care and improve patient outcomes in the future. It was established to create political and public engagement on the need to improve the efficiency of cancer care. To do this, it focuses on what matters most to patients, and makes sure resources are targeted towards achieving these outcomes.
Canadian Medical Association
The Canadian Medical Association leads a national movement with physicians who believe in a better future of health. Formed in Quebec City in 1867, the CMA’s rich history of advocacy led to some of Canada’s most important health policy changes. As we look to the future, the CMA will focus on developing a sustainable, accessible health system where patients are partners, and a new culture of medicine that embraces equity and diversity.
Canadian Nurses Association
CNA is the national and global professional voice of Canadian nursing. Our mission is to advance the nursing profession to improve health outcomes in Canada’s publicly funded, not-for-profit health system. CNA is the only national association that speaks for all nurses in all sectors and practice settings across all 13 provinces and territories. We represent nurses that are unionized and non-unionized, retired nurses, nursing students, and all categories of nurses (licensed and registered practical nurses, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and registered psychiatric nurses).
Converge Mental Health Coalition
Established in 2022, Converge responds to the urgent need for systemic change in how mental health services are accessed, deployed, and integrated. With over 90 organizations and individuals representing a diverse cross-section of sectors and industries across Canada, Converge supports mental health providers, agencies, and stakeholders to identify gaps and collaborate on solutions, driving improved and more efficient policy and technological advancements to support the changes.
DAMA Data Management Association Edmonton
DAMA, the Data Management Association, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the field of data management. Our vibrant community of professionals and enthusiasts fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation, driving the future of data-driven success.
Digital Health Canada
Digital Health Canada connects, inspires, and empowers the digital health professionals creating the future of health in Canada. Our members are a diverse community of accomplished, influential professionals working to make a difference in advancing healthcare through information technology. Digital Health Canada fosters network growth and connection; brings together ideas from multiple segments for incubation and advocacy; supports members through professional development at the individual and organizational level; and advocates for the Canadian digital health industry.
Greg's Wings Projects
Greg's Wings Projects is a not-for-profit organization established in honour of Greg Price. Greg continues to inspire us and our goal is to provide life to what Greg might have done. We have a short film called Falling Through the Cracks: Greg's Story that we have been using to spark discussions about what needs to change and improve in healthcare. The film has sparked some amazing, valuable and important conversations that we believe will inspire change.
HIMSS British Columbia
Our Mission is to promote understanding for the exchange and effective and efficient utilization of information and information technologies within BC's healthcare environment by: providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, concepts, and developments in BC's health informatics field; assuming a leadership role in advising policy and decision makers on matters pertaining to health information management in BC; building an information resource reference and coordinate an expertise pool for health informatics in BC and providing guidance for the standardization of health informatic projects.
HIMSS Canadian Prairies Chapter
The Canadian Prairies Chapter was formed in 2018 and supports the Prairie provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. We are one of the three chapters in Canada and one of the 58 chapters globally.
Our Purpose
As a chapter of HIMSS, we focus on providing leadership in healthcare for the management of systems, technology and information.
Imagine Citizens Network
Imagine Citizens Network is an Alberta-based network of people and community-oriented partners that creates pathways to bring citizen voices into the healthcare system to drive transformation.
We are a network of people and community-oriented partners with provincial scope. We seek and welcome diverse and alternative points of view and are non-partisan. Our knowledge comes from our lived experience. We believe this experiential knowledge is critical in driving healthcare innovation.
Our agenda is driven by us as citizens. We offer a non-hierarchical, collaborative method of gathering citizen input on issues of interest and do not filter feedback through any third-party lens.

Canada's Membership Network for Image-Guided Therapy (IGT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Transforming healthcare through the integration of #AI in #IGT.
Established in 2020 and led by Sunnybrook Research Institute, INOVAIT invests strategically in collaborative partnerships to strengthen Canada’s digital innovation and health science research to develop world-leading IGT companies. The network brings together small, medium-sized, and large companies, research organizations, post-secondary institutions, and not-for-profit organizations to harness the power of collaboration by infusing AI capabilities into existing or innovative IGT to transform health care.
Nucleus Independent Living
Nucleus was incorporated in 1983 as a charitable, non-profit organization that serves the Cities of Mississauga, Toronto and Brampton. We excel in providing reliable attendant services that enable seniors and persons with physical disabilities to remain living safely and independently in their own homes. Our services encompass supports for daily living, including a 24-hour mobile support service, and attendant services in the home, school or at work.
Patient Advisors Network (PAN)
The Patient Advisors Network (PAN) is a national community of practice for patient/caregiver partners - patient and family advisors committed to improving healthcare for all Canadians. Our members have experienced health services as patients/clients/residents or as family caregivers AND are involved as advisors within healthcare -- or want to be.
As independent advisors, we individually collaborate with healthcare providers, researchers, administrators and policy makers to apply the wisdom gained from our lived experience as patients and families in all aspects of healthcare.
By coming together as PAN, we draw on our collective experience as advisors to support and build our capacity to co-create better patient experiences and outcomes. As a community, we have the collective energy to help ensure that including the patient and family perspective becomes the norm.
